Lola's First Illinois Game

Logan's girlfriend is on the Illinois dance team and had some extra tickets she offered to us.  We were so excited to take Lola to her first Illinois game!

The First (and only) Snow....

Last Christmas, as in 2011, Lola got a new green sled which has just not had much use.  I could never imagine that I would actually be wishing for snow, but when I haven't seen in in awhile, I actually miss it.  None of that annoying snow, but a real blizzard!  Maybe next year...

This was New Years Day when we had a little bit of snow.  This was the actually the first day of what ended up being Lola's terrible 5-day virus, but she wanted to go out for a little bit. 

This snowsuit and boots were Logan's when he was a baby!  About a 20 year-old snow suit!  :)

Christmas Pics

The four of us did our Christmas on the Sunday before.  Lola's favorite gift from us was her swim cap and goggles.  Bode's favorite gift was.... well, he didn't really seem to care about any of them.  He just wanted to run around.

Christmas Cards

All I wanted was a nice Christmas card to send of my kids.  I really didn't think it would be hard.  We attempted this photo shoot 3-4 times.  These were the best attempt...

 

Lola did just fine.  Super cute and showing off that sweet dimple!

Catching Up...

So... i have some catching up to do. It's partly my fault and partly the fault of this silly blogger. Two times I've gone to upload pictures and it's acting up. My little button to click to 'upload' is no longer there. I think I've found a way around it, so we'll see. 

These are pictures of my cousin, Jessica's, wedding reception in November.  We had such a great time visiting, dancing and taking lots of pics with our family in Missouri.  And a few little surprises too (by the names of Michael and Devin)!  :)

 

 

Logan has tried from the moment Lola was born to be her buddy.  And for some reason, she has just always been very shy around him.  On this particular night, Lola warmed up to him and shared a dance with him.  As we count down the days before Logan leaves for California, this is absolutely one of my favorite pictures!

 

 

I believe this was the girls doing a little Gangnam Style... "hey... sexy lady"!
