Our little Bode is about two and a half weeks old now. He is such a good little guy! Don't get me wrong, I love Lola like crazy, but she was a HIGH MAINTENANCE baby. Bode seems so easy going and relaxed. He'll actually take good naps (Lola took 15 minute naps) and he is pretty content to hang out while wide awake while I'm fixing lunch, getting ready or doing other things (Lola would cry the second you put her down and wouldn't stop until you picked her up). But again... she is my Lola and regardless of her continued high maintenance, I do love her! ;)
The only minor issue we've had with Bode is getting him to gain weight. He lost the usual few ounces while we were in the hospital, before we were discharged; but then he has not been able to gain any of it back. So the last week has been a crazy week of nursing, pumping, nursing, pumping just trying to increase my production and making sure he's getting enough. We went back on Friday for a weight check and he is within 2 ounces of his birth weight, so the doctor was very pleased! We go back next week for another weight check.
